Bio:
Nick was born in Cincinnati and stayed in the area through high school. As a young teenager, he developed an interest in music and quickly learned to play both guitar and bass. That interest only grew as time passed, and eventually he moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University and pursue a degree in music business.
Before college, however, he always knew he wanted to practice law and help clients who have been wrongfully harmed. After figuring out that a music business degree was not the right fit, Nick switched to a philosophy major with an English literature minor, knowing all along that such a path would prepare him well for law school.
He was right. Reading complex texts and writing lengthy essays on complicated issues was excellent preparation for what came ahead. After graduating from Belmont University, he came back home to the Cincinnati area to attend the University of Cincinnati College of Law. There, he realized he was interested in representing both individual and corporate clients in the context of civil litigation and developed a particular interest in representing plaintiffs. He knew that he wanted to focus on areas of the law that allowed him to best interact with and assist those types of clients.
Those interests led Nick to Murphy Landen Jones. At MLJ, he has worked on cases in a variety of different areas of practice, ranging from employment discrimination to corporate litigation. His time at MLJ, coupled with his educational and personal background, has not only given him the skills to analyze and litigate claims of all different shapes and sizes, but has also given him the unique opportunity to do what he has always wanted: to help people.
He has been with MLJ since August of 2016. Nick currently lives in Cincinnati, just down the road from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
